Adelisa

Only one hundred and fifty steps from the sea, Adelisa is a palatial two-floor waterfront villa situated on the southern Italian island of Capri. The history of this villa’s unique location goes back to the days of antiquity and some remnants from that time can still be seen on parts of the property. This villa has nine bedrooms and is capable of generously accommodating large groups of up to eighteen guests.

Adelisa provides plentiful amenities for its guests to ensure their comfort and pleasure. The massive property is looked after by a gardener, housekeeper and house manager. A porter service is also available to make arrivals and departures a breeze for guests. Daily continental breakfasts in addition to a lunch and dinner service are also included. The outdoor features of the property are abundant, with an alfresco kitchen, living and dining areas, outdoor audio system, vegetable garden and private dock.

Adelisa is actually a complex consisting of two interconnected buildings which extend over two floors. The first building is referred to as the Landlord’s Residence, which blends naturally into the second building, referred to as the Saloni al Mare, or Lounges on the Sea, where guests can come together in a large and open space. The interior decor of the villa is characterized by wide lounges with marble floors, vaulted ceilings, antique crystal lamps and important pieces of antique furniture.

The nine bedrooms in Adelisa have been prepared with an elegant choice of furnishings. Each room comes with its own double bed, en-suite bathroom and air conditioning, though one room on the ground floor has a slightly smaller French bed. Some rooms also have direct access to the terrace, whereas others have large sittings areas and fireplaces.

From Adelisa one can stroll down the Via Tragara and find a breathtaking scene of the Faraglioni rock formations. These three large rock formations that jut out of the sea right off the coast of the island are Capri’s most iconic landmarks. The best way to view the Faraglioni is by a boat tour where you will sail right through the stone archway of the Faraglione di Mezzo. Come experience the sweet life in the Amalfi Coast!
