All parquet floors, antiques and leather seats, this home’s main sitting room has a classic feel, while the neighbouring kitchen is sleek and contemporary, but for a charming reclaimed dining table. The master bedroom’s another traditional space, with its pale-pink panelled walls, blue king-size bed and marble ensuite. Very close to the Basilica di Santa Croce (which some of the rooms actually overlook), you’re also surrounded by cafés and restaurants. You’ll find several museums nearby too, and it’s only a one-minute walk to the nearest bus stop, Magliabechi.

• This home's washing machine and tumble dryer are located in a utility room just outside the home in the communal hallway. This room is locked for your access only.
