Exquisite, Exceptional and Enchanting
If I designed a home in Florence/Italy, this is exactly how I would do it. The 4BR apartment is a mix of old-world charm with all the modern amenities you need to feel comfortable. The ceilings are high and the owners have fresco painted the main living areas....simply gorgeous. Each of the 4BR is beautiful and the kitchen is spectacular. My party of 8 were all very comfortable sitting at the large country kitchen table and sipping wine with our appetizers. The location is spectacular! Safe and central and very quiet at night, right across from the Pitti Palace. When we arrived at the train station and gave our driver the address, he said "oh, it's a very nice neighborhood." Shops and cafes/restaurant are abundant. Thank you Donatella (the owner) for giving us the privilege to enjoy your magnificent home! The memories and experience will last forever. Kind Regards Robert

Your home away from home
My wife and I stayed at this beautiful apartment for three nights for our anniversary and then went onto Tuscany. In short, if this place is available and within your budget you MUST stay here! The owners of this apartment are absolutely the best you can find. We had a major delay in Frankfurt and our bags got lost for four days. Donatella arranged for food to be in place for us upon our late arrival. Ilda who works with Donatella is simply an angel. We also had a chance to meet her beautiful boy. Ilda waited for us and showed us around the apartment upon our late night arrival. Both the owners and Ilda wanted to make sure our stay was perfect and checked in with us during our stay. Ilda even helped us get our luggage back once we moved onto Tuscany. These folks truly went above and beyond our expectations and are wonderful people. The apartment looks exactly like the pictures. AC works great (we were there when it was 90F) and we were never hot in the apartment. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen, furnishings were everything one could want and need. Showers were big and the water was hot. The location (across from Pitti Palace) was perfect for us. We enjoyed it because we could walk across Ponte Vecchio bridge enjoy the action of Florence during the day and then retreat back to the quite apartment at night. Every major attraction is under a 15 minute walk from the apartment. Donatella can supply you with some great restaurant suggestions and Ilda was helpful in offering to make the reservations. Donatella also helped us with a professional car service that picked us up from the Florence airport and then took us to Tuscany after our stay at her apartment. I wish they had more stars to award this place. Donatella and Ilda wanted to make sure we had a wonderful time and were extremely responsive. They went beyond our expectations and made our trip magnificent! Thank you Donatella and Ilda! Don't second guess yourself, this place is advertised. BOOK IT ! You will not be disappointed. We feel so fortunate to have been able to stay in this stunning apartment. It is spacious, luxurious, full of light, and beautifully decorated--so much nicer than any hotel you would find in the area. And the location, across the street from the Pitti Palace and just a few hundred yards from the shops at the Ponte Vecchio, simply cannot be beaten. This apartment is easy walking distance to everything, but far enough away so that it is not loud or crowded. Donatella, the owner (and Mariano and Paola), made us feel right at home--so much so, that it was difficult to actually go home once our trip was over. We could not have found a better apartment, a better location, or a more accommodating owner. We will definitely recommend this to our friends and family, and we will definitely be back, as soon and as often as we can make it.

Wonderful apartment at Palazzo Pitti
What a wonderful week we spent in Florence based in this beautiful apartment! We were a short walk from everything on both sides of the river, and what a treat to cross the Ponte Vecchio to get to locations on the north side of the Arno. The apartment itself is clean, beautifully decorated in traditional Florentine style, and filled with light. The views of the Palazzo Pitti and the Boboli Gardens are spectacular! Auto traffic is controlled in this area, so it was quite quiet at night. The charming owners, Gianni and Donatella, were very helpful with the few questions we had about the apartment and the neighborhood. We feel very lucky to have found this apartment, and we will certainly return as soon as we are able.
